Connecting the T1?E1 Cable (if applicable)

With the DS/T1 card, DS/E1 equipment can be connected over the network. (For connection to the DS/E1

network from the iMAP, a CES8 card would be used.) Refer to Figure 22.

To connect the DS1/T1 cable, perform the following procedure:

1. Connect the RJ-45 cable(s) to the DS1/T1 card, as shown in Figure 23
